Get Started Videoing a Golf Swing

What a Golfer needs to do to get started videoing a golf swing at the driving range.

1) Download and install the FeedbacK Collect app (free)

2) Record swing videos using the FeedbacK Collect app. For help recording your swing videos, see:

3) Tap “Swing Capture” to navigate to the Video screen.
4) Set-Up
For best video position, we recommend the following:Use your device’s front-facing cameraPlace your device hip high approximately 9-10 feet (3 paces) away
5) Down The Line (DTL) Video Capture using the front-facing camera:Left-handed golfers: Tap “DTL Left” to use the Left on-screen overlay.

Make sure the club head is within the overlay to verify correct camera position.

Note: your device’s rear-facing camera shows a mirror image when looking at the device.

6) Down The Line (DTL) Video Capture using the front-facing camera:Right-handed golfers: Tap “DTL Right” to use the Right on-screen overlay.

Make sure the club head is within the overlay to verify correct camera position.

7) Face On Video CaptureTap “Face On” to use the face on on-screen overlay.

Make sure the club head is within the overlay to verify correct camera position.

8) Select the “Rotate Camera” icon to use the rear-facing camera.Left-handed golfers: Tap “DTL Left” to use the Left on-screen overlay.

9) Select the “Slo-Mo” to record your video in slow motion.The Slo-Mo function is available ONLY while using the rear-facing camera.

10) Tap “Start” to start video recording and address the ball.
