Get help from a Golf Instructor

Instructor Champion Program

1) Download and install the FeedbacK Collect app (free)

Enter the name or email address for your desired Instructor. If you need an Instructor select ours – Jamie Conners!

2) Send an email to:  info@feedback-coach.com requesting to become a FeedbacK Instructor.  Provide the following information:

PGA/LPGA status
Teaching Facility
Amount you charge for video review (for information purposes only: FeedbacK does not get involved with funding transactions between you and your student)

3) FeedbacK’s Director of Instruction must approve your request

You will be notified when your request has been fulfilled

4) Once approved, you will be listed as an “Instructor” in the FeedbacK Clubhouse

5) Your Students have the ability to “Invite” you to be their Instructor.

6) You must “Accept” the invitation from the student Instructor to become their instructor.

7) Once you are designated as their Instructor, when a student “Favorites” a golf swing you will be able to review and comment.

Instructor Review in the FeedbacK Clubhouse – Online

1)  Login to the online FeedbacK Clubhouse at http://clubhouse.feedback-coach.com

2) Navigate to the “Review” Tab in the FeedbacK Clubhouse – Your students are listed in the dropdown menu under your primary account name: “Joe Instructor” (primary) Student: “Sam Golfer.” The video ready for review was identified by date & time stamp in the email you received
NOTE: Instructor reviews are accomplished using BOTH the mobile and online FeedbacK Clubhouses.

  • Voice recording is accomplished using the FeedbacK Collect app. Playback of the voice recording is available in both the FeedbacK Collect app and online FeedbacK Clubhouses.
  • Text comments are available in the online FeedbacK Clubhouse
  • Notification to the student that your review is complete is accomplished in the online FeedbacK Clubhouse

3)  Select the Video thumbnail that you wish to review.

FeedbacK: Connect Bluetooth (FdbK-C)

The FeedbacK: Connect Bluetooth (FdbK-C) adopts echo cancellation technology to deliver high-level sound quality through a simple, hands-free devices.

Charging / Battery

FdbK-C has a built in rechargeable battery. Prior to first use, fully charge the battery for 2-3 hours.

To Charge

Connect charging port to a power source. A RED light will indicate FdbK-C is charging. The light turns off when fully charged.

Battery Indications

Low power – 3 tones and a RED light flashing twice every 10 seconds signals the battery needs to be charged.

The battery will drain if FdbK-C is not used for a long time. If this occurs, Fdbk-C must be charged before use.

NOTE: Low battery power indications will not be present.

Power / Pairing

Power On/Power Off

Power On – Press and hold the button for approximately 5 seconds. Release when 1 tone is heard and BLUE light flashes quickly 3 times.
Power Off – Press and hold the button for approximately 5 seconds. Release when 1 tone is heard and RED light flashes quickly 3 times.

Enter Pair Mode

When the FdbK-C is off, press and hold button for approximately 8 seconds. Release when 2 tones are heard and RED and BLUE light flash alternately.

Pair

Ensure the FdbK-C is within 3 feet of mobile device.

Using the Bluetooth manger on your mobile device, find FdbK-C and select it for pairing.

If asked for a password, enter “0000”

After successful pairing, the BLUE light will flash once every 30 seconds.

FdbK-C will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on.

Review Golf Swing Video Online

You can use any browser (IE, Chrome, FireFox) to review video that you have uploaded to the online FeedbacK Clubhouse

1)  Login to the online FeedbacK Clubhouse at http://clubhouse.feedback-coach.com

2)  Navigate to the “Review” Tab in the FeedbacK Clubhouse

3)  Select the Video thumbnail that you wish to review

1)  Open the FeedbacK Collect app, login, and navigate to the Clubhouse screen

3)  Tap “Associates” to see a list of your Students

4)   Tap the Student’s Name whose video you wish to review

The video ready for review was identified by date & time stamp in the email you received

NOTE: Instructor reviews can be accomplished using either the FeedbacK Collect app or the online FeedbacK Clubhouse at http://clubhouse.feedback-coach.com

Functions available:

  • Voice recording is accomplished using FeedbacK Collect app

Add Club Type to the Video

In order for the club selection to be associated with a video, you must select the club you are using for your practice session before you capture your video. Use the following steps each time you switch to a different club.

Session_91) Tap “Driver” to navigate to the “Select Club” screen.

Select the club you are using for your practice session.

Tap “Swing” to return to the “Swing” screen.

Mobile Clubhouse

Clubhouse_11) Tap “Clubhouse” to navigate to the “Clubhouse” screen.The Clubhouse functions are available for use on your “Offline Swings” or on your “Swing Sessions” that have been uploaded to the FeedbacK Clubhouse server.
Clubhouse_22) Tap “Offline Swings” to navigate to your video session.

Tap “Upload All” to upload your videos to the FeedbacK Clubhouse server.

To “Refresh” or “Sync” with the FeedbacK Clubhouse sever, pull the “Clubhouse” screen down.  You will see a spinning icon indicating the phone is syncing with the server.

Clubhouse_33) Your practice sessions that have been uploaded to the FeedbacK Clubhouse server are listed under “Swing Sessions” and are arranged by practice session date.

Review the video in Collect App

Collect_11) Tap “Clubhouse” to navigate to the “Clubhouse” screen.

Tap the “Swing Session” date that you wish to review.

Review Video using Drawing Tools

Two parallel lines can be used to check that your body is rotating and not sliding.

Draw a 45 degree line to ensure the club is on the swing plane.

Draw a line over your head to check if your body stays level during the swing.

Associate Video with another Golfer

A FeedbacK Clubhouse member can create separate “profiles” within his/her user account. A profile created within a member’s account is not a separate membership account. Once you add a “Profile” or “New Golfer,” you can capture videos using the separate profiles within your FeedbacK Membership account. Use the following steps to create a “New Golfer” profile:

Session_11) Tap “Swing” to navigate to the “Swing” screen.
Session_22) Tap your “User Name” icon to navigate to the “Golfers” screen.

Tap “+” to navigate to the “New Golfer” screen.

Session_33) Enter “New Golfer” information.
Tap “Save” to return to the “Golfers” screen.
Session_44) Your “New Golfer” is now listed on the “Golfers” screen.

You can tag videos to your golfers and use the “Compare Video” feature to compare videos side-by-side.

Tap “Swing” to return to the “Swing” screen.

FeedbacK: Collect App Settings

 

AppSettings_11)  Tap “Settings” to navigate to the “Settings” screen. FeedbacK is initialized with the default settings recommended by the FeedbacK Director of Instruction.   Steps 2 – 4 will help you customize your settings.
AppSettings_22) Select Auto-upload Video “OFF” for the option to manually upload your videos to the FeedbacK Clubhouse in the cloud. The system will be more responsive with this feature turned “Off” during your video capture. You can upload your videos from the FeedbacK Clubhouse after you have completed your practice session.
AppSettings_33) Select Auto-upload Video “ON” for the option to automatically upload your videos to the FeedbacK Clubhouse in the cloud.
AppSettings_44) Select values for: “Video recording length” – the length of each video and “Audio command wait time” – the time the system will wait for the next voice command.

Practice Session Video Review

Practice 11) Login to the FeedbacK Clubhouse.
Practice 22) Select “All Swings.” Your practice sessions are arranged by practice session date.
Practice 33) Select the thumbnail for the video you wish to review.
Practice 44) Video review controls:

Play / Pause / Rewind / Step Backward / Step Forward / Toggle Loop

Practice 55) Select the “Favorite” icon to designate the video as a Favorite.

If you have an Instructor, he/she will receive an email that you have designated a video for review.

Social 11) Login to the FeedbacK Clubhouse and select the “Social” tab. Select the ”Find Friends” to invite FeedbacK Clubhouse members to collaborate with you in FeedbacK Social.
Social 22) Select the ”Find Instructor” to find FeedbacK Clubhouse Instructor
Social 33) Use the FeedbacK Social page to:

– Post comments to your FeedbacK friends
– Use the Link tab to link to another website (i.e. your favorite YouTube video)
-Ask FeedbacK! (FeedbacK Coach is your friend)

Social 44) Share your swing videos with your FeedbacK friends.
– Select the “FeedbacK Social Share” icon to Share your video with your FeedbacK Friends on the FeedbacK Social Page.
